Oh joy! Look at how clean that looks! I think I've finally settled on the process to use.

First panel: this is the hallway outside the room (but inside the apartment) where Chan and Dude were sitting on the sofa. The door on the right is the door out to the hall. In the second panel, Sally and Chan are on the stairs going from the first floor down to the ground floor (Dude and Chan live on the first floor, Sally lives across the hall). In the third panel, Sally and Chan are at the top of the stairs leading down to the basement. I wanted it to look really dark and spooky, but I don't think I pulled it off...

Technical stuff: This strip is lovely and clean because I made the scanned hand-drawn image the background, re-drew the strip on a new layer and then deleted the background. The lines are a little wobbly because I can't control the mouse with as much precision as I want. I need a graphics tablet, or at least a laser mouse and throw out the ball mouse. So now I'm saving a lot of time by not having to do any tedious clean-up and instead wasting a lot of time doing tedious re-drawing. Sigh.
