This week's adventure in Perth

So you know, Rottnest is a small island off the coast of Perth. It's fairly popular most times of the year, even in winter which is relatively mild.

The name was given by Dutch explorers who thought that one of the local species (the Quokka ) was a large rat. The name basicaly means "Rat's Nest". Wouldn't you love to say that to the family? "Hey, let's go for a trip to the rat's nest!"
